We are inviting any tourism related businesses, be it sightseeing places, restaurants, theaters, hotels, lodges, national parks, or even the smallest or most primitive interesting place to view, to partake in this website. Artists and crafters are also welcome.
By doing so we are aiming to promote more visitors to Africa and thus generating more revenue and diminishing unemployment and poverty.
There are 20 000 blocks, each consisting of 100 pixels. 100 pixels (1 block) costs 720 ZAR in South Africa and 100 USD to all other African countries. Minimum order consists of one block and maximum orders as many as there are blocks available. This is a ONCE OFF PAYMENT.
REMEMBER : There are ONLY 20 000 blocks. Once they are full of banners the page will be sold out and for those that still wanted to buy, will loose out.

HOW IT WORKS
Websites: A banner will be made the size of the block(s) you buy and placed on the grid. When clicking on the banner, your website will open. Your details will also appear on page "pixel track".
Brochures: A banner will be made the size of the block(s) you buy and placed on the grid. When clicking on the banner, a page will open and display your brochure. Please ensure that you have a brochure explaining your business. If you do not have a brochure, we will create one on your request. A price list will not be accepted. Your details will also appear on page "pixel track".
WHETHER YOU BUY ONE BLOCK OR MORE - THE SIZES OF THE BROCHURES MADE STAYS THE SAME. WHEN SOMEONE CLICKS ON YOUR BLOCK (S) ANOTHER PAGE WILL OPEN WITH EITHER YOUR OWN WEBSITE OR A BROCHURE WILL BE DISPLAYED.
HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO BE ON INTERNET?
With the sale of the first 10 000 blocks we are paying 5 years in advance and with the last 10 000 blocks the next 5 years, so the minimum years on Internet will be 10 years or longer.
WHO QUALIFIES
To be eligable to buy blocks, one must have a website or a one page brochure consisting of all the relevant information and contact details. For those of you that do not have websites, but realizes the importance of modern technology to better your income, can have a website made be it in your own country or through a webdesigner contact of ours. In the meantime you can reserve blocks to ensure your place on the page.When not having a website, you can submit your brochure and if no brochure available, we will gladly create one for you.
When all 20 000 blocks are sold there is going to be a draw where one lucky buyer will win the amount of 50 000 US$. The details of the draw will be announced under the page :Blog”.
How To Buy Pixels
- One block is 10 x 10 pixels = 100 pixels
- 100 pixels (1 block) = 720 ZAR within South Africa and 100 US Dollars, other African countries.
- There are 20 000 blocks.
- Which makes 2,000,000 pixels.
- Minimum order - 1 block, maximum order, as much as there are still pixels available.
- Payment must accompany order. Details under payment method.
- Brochures can be send via e-mails. It must be 100% photo quality. Unclear images will not be used.
- Should we create the brochure, images can be send via e-mail or cellphone.
- No animated images please.
- Links to websites must begin with http://
- Where we create a brochure it will take anything between one day up to three weeks. You will be kept updated on the progress.
- After everything is finalised the uploading will take place within 48 hours.
PRICES ARE IN US DOLLAR CURRENCY. (South African based buyers pay 720.00 ZAR)
For those who do not have banners nor brochures, we will create them for you!! Free of charge!!!!
Terms & Conditions
- Please ensure the correctness of the image and link you want on the homepage. Once submitted they cannot be changed.
- Changes of your image/banner will only be allowed under the following conditions;
- your site no longer exists,
- the site being restructured,
- you want to replace the brochure with a newly designed website of the same business,
- lawsuits,
- by mutual consent between website owner and pixel purchaser.
- When payment and order has been received and you would like to cancel, cancellation can only take place BEFORE banner has been loaded on the map. Once the banner has been loaded on the map, no cancellation will be accepted.
- You will be notified by e-mail once the banner/website/brochure has been uploaded. Please allow 24 hours between loading and appearance of banner on map.
- You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
- Only after payment received and cleared will the images/link be added on the homepage.
- No offensive wording, obscene and adult images, anti- Semitic, or any unlawfull images/links will be accepted.
- Rejected submitted images/links will be refunded and pixels resold.
- When your image/link is accepted, and you change the content of the linked site showing anything negative as previously discussed your link will be removed and you will not get a refund as the link was on the homepage.
- If you should want to remove the image/link from the homepage, please request in writing. However you will not be refunded and the pixels will become available again.
- Site maintenance will occur from time to time and may be down occasionally. Should this happen, we apologize. These will be kept to a minimum.
- Whilst buying pixels, you will not own any part of the homepage or this site. You only have the right to submit an image and link which will then be placed in the space you paid for, on this homepage.
- Afridestinations.com is not responsible for the contents of external sites and brochures. Images featured on homepage are © of their respective owners.
Placing Orders & Method of Payment
Orders can be placed via e-mail or fax.
Would you wish to create your own banner, the size of the banner must match the size of blocks ordered. These can only be send via e-mail.

Prize Rules
- Prize will be drawn and place of venue will be announced through this website.
- The sale of the TWO millionth pixel will determine the date of the draw.
- Prize winner may be requested to participate in publicity. The winner grants permission for the use of his/her name and photographs in any advertising and/or promotional material.
- The winner unconditionally and irrevocably indemnifies and holds harmless Afrodestinations.com and/or
- Eclectic International Export cc and its successors, employees, agents, consultants, directors and members against all and any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, (direct consequential or otherwise), liability, demands ,expenses , legal costs (on an attorney and own client basis), medical costs or other costs howsoever arising out of, based upon, or in connection with (directly or indirectly) the winner , to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Only websites with cleared payments will be taken into consideration for this price.
- Income taxes relating to the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Afridestinations.com and Eclectic International Export cc reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the prize at any time at its sole discretion without liability.
- The winner will be contacted via contact details as supplied by his/her website.
- Should Afridestinations.com/Eclectic International Export cc fail to get hold of the winner within 7 days, another winner will be drawn and notified.
